We are currently seeking a photographer. The Photographer is responsible for the creative direction and execution of photography on a firm-wide/ multi-office basis. Responsibilities include the management of image resources, both digital and hard copy format; developing high quality imagery for large print and in-house uses and; developing a portfolio of firm-wide projects completed and in-progress, as well a library of stock imagery for in-house use. This position is available in any Design Workshop office location. Our Denver, CO office is preferred.

A bachelor's degree in photography in addition to a minimum of five years of directly-related experience with Landscape Architecture or Architecture photography is required. Candidates must have demonstrated knowledge of shooting in different conditions and be able to communicate graphically and verbally. Candidates must be proficient be proficient in Photoshop, Camera Raw, Adobe Bridge, Lightroom and Powerpoint. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with variety of assignments and multiple deadlines is also required. Knowledge of all camera formats, knowledge of lighting design and various lighting systems and experience with scanning, retouching, the output of imagery, color management is essential. The ideal candidate also has experience in videography shooting and editing.
The photographer schedules and participates in all project-related photo shoots, directs photography and styling all for marketing collateral (such as proposals, cutsheets, slides, brochures, posters, awards submittals, etc.), project-related materials (newsletters, design guidelines, master plans and final reports) and internal documentation (such as the intranet and DW website). The photographer travels to various locations including Design Workshop offices for project and stock photography.
