    We are seeking a talented and motivated Environmental Graphic Designer with a minimum of three years of proven experience in professional environmental graphic design.

     

    This position can be based in our Aspen, Austin, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles or Tahoe office locations and will collaborate with many project teams in all of our Design Workshop locations while also traveling to various project sites.  The application deadline for this position is Monday, November 12 at 11:59pm mountain time.     Qualifications

    A minimum of two years’ experience working in concept design and design development is required.  Experience developing signage and wayfinding programs is required. Experience in working on various types of design and planning projects such as parks, resorts, civic wayfinding and urban streetscapes is also preferred. Successful candidates must possess proven technical and creative abilities as well as strong organizational and communication skills. Experience working directly with clients and with others geographically separated required. Additional requirements include a strong knowledge of typography, application of three-dimensional design and the ability to meet deadlines while managing many shifting priorities. This is a unique position with some unique responsibilities and will require management of self and others.  Proven experience with or a strong desire to learn seeing signage projects from conceptual design through implementation is required. Construction documentation experience is preferred.

     

    Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite is required.  A two-year degree with a focus in graphic design is also required.  Experience with HTML/ CSS, signage code familiarity and proven proposal writing skills is strongly preferred.  Experience with 3D modeling software (SketchUP and AutoCAD) is required.  

    Responsibilities

    This individual will work closely with project teams and the business development team to provide graphic design and production on a variety of project assignments.
