Provides landscape architecture, planning and project management services to a wide variety of private and public clients; either in support of the project manager or designer/planner on large, complex projects or performing as project manager or lead designer/planner on others.  Serves in a firm-wide leadership role in the pursuit and implementation of legacy work through exceptional design, project documentation, planning, business development, and/or project management.

• An undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited landscape architecture program or master’s degree or dual degrees in both landscape architecture and urban design or planning (preferred)
• 5+ years of work experience
• A license to practice landscape architecture
• Strong skills in planning and urban design, site design, and familiarity with construction observation
• Demonstrated ability in project management and business development
• Successful management of projects from conceptual design through completion of construction documents
• Proven experience producing drawings and specifications from the schematic stage through construction observation
• Self-motivated with the ability and desire to lead others in the design and construction documentation/construction observation process; and
• The proven ability and desire to engage and retain clients as well as mentor less-experienced staff.

The salary for this position is $65,000-$90,000, dependent on experience. This position is benefits eligible. Benefits include comprehensive health, wealth, and well-being benefits. Ownership of the company is held in an ESOP Trust, which is funded entirely by company contributions, and all employees participate. This is designed as a long-term retirement benefit, with the employees’ accounts increasing as the value of the business increases.
