Overview

Part of the marketing team, this individual assists with firmwide business development, marketing and public relations initiatives.  This individual is a highly motivated, self-starter with experience in proposal production, key messaging and story development across all communications. Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads, preparing proposals and presentations for prospective clients, updating and maintaining the CRM system and leading all marketing efforts for the studio.  We are seeking to fill two positions: one person to support our Raleigh, North Carolina studio and one person to support our Denver, Colorado studio.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties | Responsibilities:  

  • Collaborates with project teams and leads the planning and production of firm qualifications packages, requests for proposals and qualifications, presentations, and interviews
  • Works with Principals and other key individuals to assist in the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans
  • Updates and maintains templates for proposals, qualifications packages, cutsheets, resumes and PowerPoint presentations
  • Prepares the graphics and layout for required marketing materials as needed
  • Delivers quality management best practices for all communication materials both inside/outside the firm
  • Procures and qualifies short and long-term leads for various target audiences
  • Conducts research on industry and market trends to support firm offices
  • Develops and maintains a network of corporate, industry, municipal, and community contacts to keep abreast of industry, client, and competitor activity

Communications, social media

  • Assists in the production of marketing, promotional, and image materials
  • Develops and posts content for social media channels (LinkedIn and Instagram)
  • Assists team management of PR and Social Media calendars
  • Compiles images/graphics for Open Asset upload and maintenance

Systems and Processes

  • Updates and manages all office marketing and business development opportunities using CRM software, including report generation
  • Monitors the opportunities and tracks leads through the sales cycle
  • Maintains system to regularly update staff on status of leads, potential projects and hit ratios.
  • Implements best practices of quality management for all internal and external communications

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or communications or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-3 years previous experience preparing written and visual promotional materials and/ or marketing proposals in the A/E/C industry preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Deltek or other CRM software is strongly desired
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills including editing and proofing
  • Graphic design and layout skills required
  • Excellent time management skills. Must be comfortable in a deadline-driven role with the ability to manage projects in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Ability to communicate and present ideas in an organized, efficient and effective manner that results in clear understanding and action.

  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and obtaining professional certifications.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $55,000-$63,000. You can continue grow your pay by qualifying for annual pay-for-performance merit increases, discretionary bonus payouts based on the firm's profitability and professional advancement awards. Benefits include comprehensive health, wealth, and well-being benefits including company paid medical premiums for employee only coverages; a health savings account (HSA) option; dental and vision coverages; a 401K plan with a 5% match; paid time-off along with financial support for professional training and licensing expenses.
